On Thursday, March 5, 1936 the Northeast Johnson County Republican Club for Women was organized at the home of Mrs. Marguerite Dawson, 5660 Mission Road.
Officers elected were: President, Mrs. Marguerite Dawson; First Vice President, Mrs. Elwood Hobbs, Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. A.M. Hannah Bylaws committee members were: Mrs. Lillie Brazier, Mrs. Catherine Belinder and Mrs. Wiles.
